mattroberts (23 Apr 2009):
Damn, you've worked out my secret, if I put sunglasses on I become Vijay, with beard dye I'm Sayid.
teej101 (23 Apr 2009):
Ok what do you think? Similar much - for me the resemblance is uncanny

This sort of in depth cricket analysis is what people look to me for
nshah (22 Apr 2009):
Oh apologies, I seem to have my facts askew. Jesse plays for Bangalore and the other two for Deccan. Well, whatever happens, you can bet there's going to be one hell of an alcohol fueled party at the end of this one.
nshah (22 Apr 2009):
Is Deccan just a team of alcoholics. Gibbs, Ryder and Symonds? I never knew it was the Deccan Chargers cricket and rehab club
mattroberts (22 Apr 2009):
So, Bangalore face their third game in the competition, against last year's rivals for last place, Deccan Chargers. Surely Jesse Ryder must return at the top of the order. Ross Taylor is under pressure after two failures, but Bangalore already have one steady hand in Rahul Dravid - do they need Jaques "team man" Kallis too? Taylor offers a chance of a massive total that Kallis can't match. And with his millionaire fee it's about time KP put a score on the board - the Challengers can't rely on Kumble to take 5 for 5 in every game!
nshah (19 Apr 2009):
What a star Rahul Dravid. Showed everyone what he was about yesterday with a wonderful display of gritty batting. And the bowling attack looks very solid with Steyn and Kumble both doing the business.

Bangalore Royal Challengers is what you get when one of India's most exciting businessmen is looking for a vehicle to express his dull side. Their performance in 2008 was 20/20 played fifty years ago. But 2009 has ushered in a new dawn, with Vijay returning to his effervescent self and even going a little nuts. That's right, KP nuts (sorry). This year sees the arrival of cricket's most unfathomable talent, Kevin Pietersen. Chastised after his recent dealings with the England Cricket Board, everybody's best friend KP has a lot to prove in a short time. Whatever happens, it won't be boring. As for the details, coached by well known hard task master Ray Jennings and star players including Dravid, Kallis, Steyn and Tinu Yohannan. Oh, and Katrina Kaif might be along for the ride too.
