Some of the pressure will be lifted now. New Zealand are looking a little weak at the moment. Have to fancy Australia, India, Sri Lanka and South Africa to make the semis.

Looks straightforward for SA now, after an excellent by AB de Villiers. Only 15 needed and plenty of overs in hand.

New Zealand have stepped it up here, but ABV is still at the crease and he's a great finisher

Shaping up to be an interesting match. It's waiting for someone to take the game by the old scruff of the neck

New Zealand 214 all out with about 2 overs to go. South Africa should be able to knock that off, but with Bond and Tuffey back in the fold, New Zealand must be feeling more confident in their bowling than the past couple of seasons.

New Zealand are 92/2 after 23 overs. Parnell's taken a couple. He looks a very useful bowler Parnell, I rate him for the future.

The most intriguing thing about the ICC Champtions Trophy is to see how many teams actually take it seriously. Realistically, it's the younger and poorer brother of the Cricket World Cup and with the West Indies sending a team of rookies, it's looking less and less a Champions Trophy
South Africa, the great underachiever of cricket. They have been labelled chokers and despite Graeme Smith's efforts to instil some backbone to the team, they continue to miss out on the big occasion. They are, nevertheless, one of the best teams in cricket today.
Forever the dark horse of world cricket, the New Zealanders are always fancied for an outside bet, but have never quite been able to complete the promise of a side which is generally better than the sum of its parts.
